Coconut and Cardamom Mounds

Serves 18 Prep 35 mins Cook 15 mins
  • 5 tablespoons castor sugar
  • 2 cups Desiccated coconut
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground cardamom
  • 4 tablespoons NESTLÈ Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 225g Butter
  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Mix all dry ingredients together, except the flour.

  2. Add in the butter and mix well.

  3. Add in flour, a little at a time as required to get a soft dough consistency. You may not need to use all the flour.

  4. Shape into Mounds.

  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes. These burn quite easily on the bottom.

  6. Garnish with white chocolate swirls and coloured desiccated coconut.

  7. Allow to cool, before removing them from baking tray.
